Boss AC-2 Acoustic Simulator

Why change guitars when you can simply add the AC-2 to your rig? This amazing stomp box accurately simulates acoustic guitar sounds from your electric guitar. 4-mode dial lets you select standard or jumbo acoustic sound, add brilliance with enhance, or a piezo pickup sound. Top and body knobs make it easy to fine tune your acoustic tones.

A 4-mode dial selects

  • Standard: conventional acoustic guitar sound
  • Jumbo: sound of larger body acoustic guitar
  • Enhance: a brilliant sound that is never buried "in the mix," even while playing in a live band situation
  • Piezo: piezo pickup sound for a more compressed acoustic guitar sound

Top and Body knobs for flexible sound control

  • Top : adjusts brilliance and sympathetic harmonics
  • Body: adjusts the resonance response of the guitar body

Individual Outputs

The AC-2 has two individual outputs, one for the effected acoustic guitar sound, and another for the direct, unaffected electric guitar source. You can switch between outputs at the touch of a pedal and connect outputs separately to other effects units or amplifiers, for total sonic control and flexibility.
