The PMD930 can be flashed via CD-Rom to keep up with the ever emerging list of DVD formats as well as adding upgraded functions to the user interface as they are released. The advanced RS-232 control port offers two-way remote control feedback of all functions along with programmable bitmap user-defined background images, controllable sleep mode, fine tune video controls, time search, and elimination of the OSD (On Screen Display) icons for use in live production.
