Digitech GNX2000

DigiTech GNX2000 Guitar Multi Effects Workstation

The DigiTech GNX2000 provides a creative outlet for a working guitar player to perform, practice, create and record. Inspired by the award-winning GNX4, the GNX2000 provides 2-way computer connectivity via USB for recording as well as extra I/O to handle vocals, other instruments and monitoring. It's perfect for stage or studio. ProTracks Plus and X-Edit software provide easy recording and mixing on your computer. Effects include 27 amp models, 23 cabinet models, 65 Presets, 65 User presets, and 65 Artist presets. Other features include a built-in drum, machine, chromatic tuner, a Jam-A-Long input, rugged metal construction and a dbx mic preamp with phantom power.

DigiTech debuts the Digitech GNX2000 Guitar Workstation, a full-featured, multi-modeling digital effects processor that provides key features for both live and studio applications. Inspired by the GNX4 Guitar Workstation, the Digitech GNX2000 offers two-way computer connectivity via a USB interface for recording, as well as additional I/Os to handle other instruments, vocals and monitoring. The Digitech GNX2000 also offers both 1/4-inch and XLR outputs to send signal directly to your amplifier and to the PA system.

The DigiTech GNX2000 is loaded with features that make it a guitarist's best friend in any situation. In the studio, DigiTech's Hands-Free computer recording is enabled by an onboard USB interface. Also included is DigiTech's Pro Tracks Plus (PC) recording software, which enables 4 channels of 24-bit audio to be streamed to the computer while playing 2 channels back, all with zero-latency monitoring, and X-Edit Editor/Librarian software. A dbx microphone preamp with its own phantom power supply allows you to capture acoustic playing. Wet/Dry recording capability enables a processed stereo signal plus a mono dry signal to be streamed to the hard drive recording system simultaneously, letting the user reprocess the signal on the computer after recording it. Not sure if you want to print tracks wet or dry? Never be forced to make that choice again. Furthermore, dry signals recorded on the computer can be rerouted back to the Digitech GNX2000 for processing with any of its many onboard effects and sound models. Over 100 professional drum patterns are available at the touch of a footswitch.

Live, the Digitech GNX2000 will enhance your performance on any stage. Balanced XLR outputs with speaker compensation can drive a PA using DigiTech's acclaimed cabinet modeling, advanced CIT (Cabinet Imaging Technology), or feed a recording console with the built-in DI box. The 1/4-inch jacks drive guitar amps in mono or stereo and allow you to control your own levels.

Onboard effects include amplifier modeling based on classics such as the 1965 Fender Twin Reverb, 1957 Fender Tweed Deluxe, Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier, VOX AC30 Top Boost, Marshall JCM900, Fender Bassman, Ampeg SVT and more. Blend in sounds from classic stomp boxes, including the Ibanez TS-9, the Arbiter FuzzFace, the BOSS DS-1, DigiTech's own famous Grunge, VooDoo Labs Sparkle Drive, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi and others. Then there's the GNX2000's onboard DSP powered by three AudioDNA chips, which offers special effects such as Whammy, Wah, Pickup Modeling, Intelligent Pitch Shifting, Chorusing, Flanging, Phasing, Tremelo, Noise Gate, various delays and reverbs, and many, many more.
