The Esprit is a modern redesign of a FenderŪ bearing the same name and is a chambered, carved-top electric that allows for both solidbody and semi-hollow tones. Featuring a bound Mahogany body and set-neck, two satin Duncan Designed humbucking pickups and platinum hardware - the Esprit is a gorgeous, sophisticated-looking, fast-playing double cutaway electric from the top name in value - Squier.

"The "Esprit" was first introduced by FenderŪ in 1983 as part of the 'Master Series.' The series was introduced to offer instruments that would appeal to a broader base of guitarists, and were designed and developed with input from some of the top guitarists at the time. Its cutting tone makes it every bit as viable an instrument today as it was when it was first introduced.
