Latin Percussion Generation III Wood Bongos

Latin Percussion Generation III Wood Bongos Description:

LP Generation III Bongos offer a slightly larger head size with the large half of the bongos featuring a head diameter of 9" instead of the more traditional 8-5/8". This provides additional bottom end response and greater volume.

They have a similar shell contour to LP Generation II Bongos, are crafted of kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak and also have a specially designed steel backing plate.

The heads are produced from natural rawhide that has been specially treated to provide a uniform opaque white color and a softer touch.

LP Generation III Bongos also feature traditional rims and Cuban style bottoms, both crafted from high strength steel in a chrome finish. The 5/16" diameter tuning lugs have been carefully formed to hug the shell making the bongos as comfortable for playing as possible. They are available in a natural light wood finish.
