For over thirty years, Carlos Santana and his band have created a substantial body of work that has enriched the culture of America and, to be sure, the entire world. And for over thirty years, Santana's history has been intertwined with that of Latin Percussion. That's cause to celebrate.

Accordingly, LP is proud to introduce the special series LP Music Collection Santana Commemorative Mini Tunable Congas and Bongos in recognition of Santana's cultural contributions and long friendship with Latin Percussion.

Destined to be sought after collector's items, the new series is a glowing tribute to Santana. In fact a mirror image of LP's older and larger siblings, the LP Music Collection Santana Commemorative Mini Tunable Congas and Bongos are for display-and for playing! The drums incorporate symbolic designs from top-selling Santana albums. The fabric mounted graphics, featuring striking artwork against a deep red backdrop, are permanently imbedded in the shells, then sealed with a durable, glossy topcoat. The contrast of the gold toned hardware against the rich hues of the shells is unforgettable.

Those congas are constructed from rugged fiberglass and stand 11" tall and 4" wide. Similarly, the bongos are scaled down replicas of our pro fiberglass series in every way. All drums incorporate mini versions of LP Heart Side Plates and Comfort Curve II Rims, and are topped by specially selected natural rawhide. This means that while the LP Music Collection Santana Commemorative Mini Tunable Congas and Bongos will complement any home or studio décor, they are eminently playable and produce robust tones in the tradition of world leading LP drums. An LP tuning wrench is also included.
