The Name Speaks For Itself. The "Tabu" Bass Is An Attempt To Develop A New Look That Has The Potential To Become A Classic. Features A Double Cutaway Sculpted Bound Ash Body, Mahogany Neck-Through-Body Construction, Die-Cast Tuners, 2 High Grade Active Single Coil Pickups, and A High Mass Stop Tailpiece.

The Tabu bass is a new look. It almost has the feel of a violin that is traditional but unique. The offset body gives the Waist treatment an even more individual look. The use of Neck through body construction allows for the cutaways to have a more flowing look that mirrors the bottom of the body. Combine The Look With The Compact Headstock and Active Electronics and You Have A Very Special Instrument.

There have been an endless number of attempts at creating the new classic. An instrument with a design character strong enough to become a permanent part of the style landscape. The fact is it is a real challenge to develop a design that is unique and still falls within accepted visual parameters. This is because most of the really great guitars and basses are true examples of form following function.
