Zildjian Drumsticks Horacio Hernandez Horacio is noted for his musical control and creativity and this stick really reflects these attributes. Featuring our smallest bead, this stick provides very clear and pinpoint tonality. This stick offers a solid feel. The long taper to small round bead, creates a stick that "dances" in a controlled fashion on instruments. A double coating of lacquer also gives the stick a grippy feel. A native of Havana, Cuba, Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez's talent became evident early on at an age of 12, he was accepted into the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Arte, where he majored in drums and percussion. He has played with musicians ranging from Gonzalo Rubalacaba to Michel Camilo to Carlos Santana to Tito Puente's Tropi-Jazz All-Stars.
