Auralex TruSpacers

Auralex TruSpacers Description:

It is common knowledge that an airspace behind your studiofoam increases its low-frequency effectiveness. Building on that principle, Auralex Acoustics introduces the TruTraps™ Broadband Absorption System.

TruSpacers are 3" foam spacers used for mounting acoustic foam panels out from your walls or ceiling, creating an airspace behind your foam for excellent broadband absorption. TruSpacers can mount your foam panels across corners or on the walls or ceiling, and can be doubled up or even tripled to provide up to 9 inches of airspace. Use them with our rigid 2'x4' TruPanels for a sleek, broadband acoustical solution.

TruSpacers can also be glued to the back of any of our 4" Studiofoam products (Wedge, Metro or Pyramid) for "off the wall" mounting and added broadband absorption. For thinner acoustic foam panels, we recommend adding a lightweight backing board such as Cor-X, for rigidity.

One box of 64 TruSpacers will adequately mount 40-60 sq. ft. of TruPanels.

Auralex TruSpacers Features:

  • Size: 3" deep
  • Qty: 64 per box
  • Fire Rating: Class B
