Stanton FinalScratch 1.5

The system that started it all. FinalScratch® 1.5 has quickly become the industry standard for using turntables to control MP3s and other digital audio files. And thanks to its new low price, anyone can afford to tap into the world of laptop-based DJing.

With FinalScratch 1.5, DJs can leave their vinyl at home and use their laptop to store thousands of tracks and play them back from any turntable or CD player*. Organize your music into virtual record crates and instantly search collection to build custom playlists for any gig. Then just drag and drop your music into the onscreen decks while using your turntable (or CD player) to cue, mix and scratch with true vinyl-like response.

FinalScratch 1.5 comes with everything you need to get started-including an industry-standard USB ScratchAmp&trade for connecting your turntables to a Mac or PC. You also get Traktor FS 1.5 software (now compatible with both the Windows XP and Mac OSX operating systems) and three "FS Standard" time-coded vinyl records.

*CD player control requires optional FS CD Adapter Kit.

Key Correct

Traktor FS 1.5 now offers high-quality Key Correct, or realtime timestretch. With Key Correct enabled, DJs can alter the tempo of a track while maintaining the original pitch. Play a hip-hop track pressed at 33RPM at 45 and use Key Correct to morph it into an instant house or breaks track. Or pitch an acapella to any tempo you want without altering the original vocal characteristics. Three levels of quality are provided to ensure optimal performance on a range of CPUs.
