The new generation of Gon Bops California Series congas are crafted from the highest grade quarter-sawn solid North American Oak staves and fitted with custom-sized Grade A cow skins. The unique hybrid crown hoop combines the look of traditional flat steel hoops with the playability of more modern contoured hoops. The result is a Cuban-style drum with classic flair and a sound that is pure Gon Bops.
