Crown : PIP-RPAT Remote Public Address PIP Module PIPTM (Programmable Input Processor) Modules open up a completely new realm of capability for Com-Tech, Macro-Tech and Studio Reference amplifiers. Simply plugged into the rear-mounted PIP connector of these amplifiers, they provide a cost-effective, convenient alternative to outboard processors or inferior systems that can compromise performance. A wide, ever-expanding assortment of PIP modules are available. P.I.P.-RPA A phantom-power mixer that has four balanced mic or line inputs with voiceover capability and adjustable "duck" level, 84 dB of attenuation. A 10-volt DC source for remote control capability is provided. The P.I.P.-EXT (Part M44731-4), available from service, allows the P.I.P.-RPA and other PIP cards to be "extended" outside the amplifier for easy set up. P.I.P.-RPAT has the same features as the P.I.P.-RPA but includes four input transformers.
