Hosa CMT-400DS Series

Hosa CMT-400DS Series Description:

Hosa cables are known for their reliability and can be found in recording studios around the world. Their line is very extensive and covers any recording need from digital cables to multipin snakes.

Our friends at Alesis use 9-pin "D-Sub" cables to synchronize two or more ADAT or ADAT-XT digital multitrack recorders, and to connect their BRC remote control. They changed their original specification for synchronization cables when it was found that ADAT power users with 2 or more ADATs and a BRC remote were putting a lot of bi-directional signal through that cable, creating crosstalk within the cable, which caused loss of sync and other strange phenomena. Be advised that Hosa offers the CMT-400DS Series 9-pin D-sub cables made to the new, exacting specification. (The "DS" in our model number stands for double-shielded.) Available in five different lengths, CMT-400DS Series cables from Hosa are guaranteed ADAT-compatible!
